They are amazing. I've met some that forecasted my demise, but not Ginger. She did know not to kick out at the bundle of a snowsuit. And thank you for your reply. I really appreciate it.

I’m amazed by horses, and although I love them and grew up with them I’ve never had one as an adult. My brother’s horse ranch was only few miles from my house, so I got my horse fix visiting his ranch when he a was alive. His favorite horse was Bruce, a gentle black horse that was like his horse familiar watching over my brother. Beautiful writing Ginger, thank you.

Ginger, moments like these bring us back from a precipice, and allow a return to normalcy. A life with animals. Hope this finds you well. Oh, and strings!

Such an amazing story of God's protection over us. My daughter was loaned this reprobate horse for 4H. I knew when I was praying for a horse that God was giving us that one. She was 11, tiny and fresh put of the hospital with a pic-line. I had to learn to control my fear around her. When the farmer saw her ride that horse at the fair, he said he didn't believe it was the same animal. It had kicked him in the face and broke his jaw.

Thank you. And your story of your daughter as well! It's wonderful how horses pick their people when least expected. 🖤

amazing story. I am afraid of horses. My sister has a small ranch and I love watching her, she works with them like I work with dogs. Like dogs, horses read us so well.

I was frightened of horses all my life but my family (riders and rodeo competitors) I could not admit as much. So I finally ditched western upbringing and entered English Dressage at age 51. I learned the basics of horse care and stable maintenance, tack room, and groundwork even before trotting my horse. I have come to love it all. I am so glad I faced my biggest fears!

Just wow! This gave me tears and maybe holding my breath. That mare sensed you, knew to be absolutely still, do you no harm. I’ve been around horses and respect there space…and backside! 😄 You tell this so beautifully, Ginger! Great writing… and I love your name. 🩷

There is something about a horse, however untamed, and a tiny child. Beautiful story.

Hugs to you. Have you thought of sharing/writing those experiences? I've often wondered if other families experienced multiple occurances of divine interventions, a lifelong chain of events! ❤️

Yes, I have shared many divine interventions from God in mtg's over the years. Some are in my book. However, the childhood ones I nearly forgotten about until I read your stories :-) I still remember the "toilet paper" story you shared with me as a lil girl... do you remember? :-)
